Who we are and what data we collect
Last updated: September 2, 2026. esio, Rue du Château 13, 2000 Neuchâtel, Switzerland ("esio", "we"), operates the esio.digital website. This policy describes how we handle the personal data of people who visit the site or contact us through the contact form or online appointment booking. For any question, contact us at info@esio.digital or +41 79 757 53 11.
Data we collect
When you use our contact form, you provide us with your name, phone number, e-mail address, company name, and the subject and content of your message. Our hosting provider also automatically records certain technical data necessary for the operation and security of the site (IP address, browser type, pages viewed, timestamps). We never ask, through our forms, for sensitive data (health, origin, political, religious or trade union opinions, etc.).
Purposes and legal bases for processing
We process your data to respond to your contact or appointment requests, ensure the security and proper functioning of the site, measure site traffic in an aggregated and anonymous way without individual profiling, and comply with our legal obligations, including accounting obligations. We do not sell or rent your data to third parties.
How we protect your data
Your data is processed by esio and by Odoo S.A. (Belgium), which hosts the site and its database as part of the Odoo Online offering and acts in that capacity as a data processor. As of today, the site does not use any payment provider, advertising provider, or third-party tracking tool (Google Analytics, Google reCAPTCHA and Google Tag Manager are disabled). Our audience measurement tool, Plausible Analytics, does not set cookies and does not collect any data that could identify a visitor individually.
Cookies
The site uses technical cookies that are essential to its operation (session, language memorization) and, subject to the consent you give via the banner shown on the site, non-essential cookies. You can manage your preferences at any time on our Cookie Policy page.
Data retention and security
Data from the contact form is kept for as long as necessary to process your request, then, where applicable, for the period required by our legal obligations (in particular accounting and tax obligations). Technical browsing data is kept for a limited period, for security purposes. The esio.digital site is accessible over HTTPS (TLS encryption) and hosted on Odoo Online's secure infrastructure.
Your rights and our contact details
Hosting via Odoo Online may involve processing your data within the European Union; where a transfer takes place outside Switzerland or the EU/EEA, Odoo S.A. contractually commits to guaranteeing an adequate level of protection. We may amend this policy, in particular to reflect changes to the site or to our legal obligations; the date of the last update appears at the top of the page.
Your rights
In accordance with the Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and, where applicable, the GDPR, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict and object to the processing of your data. You can exercise these rights by contacting us at info@esio.digital. You are also entitled to lodge a complaint with the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC) or, if the GDPR applies to your situation, with the competent data protection authority in your country of residence.
